The pairing of Rupert Everett and Madonna turns out to be something less than scintillating because the movie
entrapping them is some weird alternative soap opera....
I like Everett. But even he's not enough. In order to see this film, I had to venture out of my home and miss an
episode of "Judging Amy," a show that would have handled the same material not only with more
realism and honesty but with a whole lot more bracing humor.
