Amy Brenneman is thinking about taking on a film role during her "Judging Amy" hiatus -- but she's not thinking about it too hard. Starring in and co-producing her series is turning
out to be a real test of endurance, she says, and "I'm kind of looking forward to having some time off. A lot."
Still, she does intend to squeeze in promotional chores on behalf of her January-release feature, "Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her."
She plays older sister to Cameron Diaz in the drama that also casts Glenn Close and Calista Flockhart. "It's a movie I'm proud of and glad to support," Brenneman says. The picture
entailed what she terms "doing a George Clooney" -- that is, shooting the series and movie simultaneously for part of last summer.
